Our aim is to help pet dog owners get the best from their relationship with their dog!

Standish Dog Trainer is owned and run by Jo Pay.

We provide 1-2-1 dog training, puppy & dog training classes in Standish and in Wigan Centre  covering socialisation, companion dog skills and all basic obedience including loose lead walking, house training, settle, name game, recall, safe handling, appropriate play and much more. We also offer KC Rally, Puppy Parties and Dog Agility. All of our classes now support the use of clickers and clicker training. We are Kennel Club Registered and offer The Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards. We can even give you advice and assistance when you are adding a new canine family member in our reassuring New Puppy Package.  Our behaviour modification training offers help for families who are challenged with serious issues such as guarding, reactivity, chase and fear based problems.

With gentle reward based training methods, consistency, patience and determination, there is no problem that we cannot help you with. We don’t use any gimmicks, we do use scientifically proven methods of dog training.

All members of the Standish Dog Trainer team are properly qualified and continue to expand their own qualifications.
